The Mission of the International Division is to administer policies and programs involving the Boys Scouts of America with the World Organization of the Scout Movement and to support Boy Scouts of America regions and councils in international activities.
The International Division of the Boy Scouts of America provides the link between the BSA and World Scouting.

Administers participation in the World Scout Conference and conducts relationships with the World Scout Bureau. |

Coordinates participation in events of other national Scout associations such as jamborees, International Camps, tours, exchange visits, and world events, such as Jamboree-on-the-Air and World Jamborees. |

Administers the Direct Service Council of the Boy Scouts of America to serve American youth overseas. |

Promotes and administers the International Camp Staff Program of the Boy Scouts of America and the European Camp Staff Program for U.S.A. Scouters. |

Handles administrative support for the United States Foundation for International Scouting. |

Issues International Tour permits and International Letters of Introduction. |
